Understanding the ISO 9001:2000 Requirements

Course Purpose

To provide key personnel with a working knowledge of revised ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System and it’s benefits. The course serves as both an introduction and update overview of the key requirement and 8 Quality Management Principles that make up the basis of process based standards. The provides a focus on the requirements carried over from the 1994, the requirements, plus areas of emphasis for future implementation effectivity. It also includes common points between the ISO 14000 Environmental Standard for those considering an integrated system approach comparability.

Course Description

This 2 hour course provides participants with a thorough understanding of the critical business issues related to a process based Quality Business System. It also provides participants with a full understanding of the key roles of leadership and responsibilities toward improvement. As well as standardized plan to support implementation of an infrastructure that drives process based continuous improvement cycles quickly and effectively.
